1. Introduction

Welcome to PurpleBone.pet, operated by PurpleBone Pet Toys K.K. (株式会社パープルボーン・ペットトイズ), a company incorporated under the Companies Act of Japan (会社法), with its registered office at 3F Shinjuku Park Tower, 2-6-1 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan.

By accessing our website, browsing our catalogue, or placing an order, you ("Customer," "User," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website immediately.

2. Products & Orders

All products listed on PurpleBone.pet are pet toys for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and other small animals. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or update any product listing without prior notice.

Order Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for reasons including stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

• Orders are confirmed via email after successful placement.
• We may contact you to verify details before processing.
• Bulk or wholesale orders require prior written approval.
• Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual items may vary slightly.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices on PurpleBone.pet are listed in Japanese Yen (¥ JPY) and are inclusive of applicable Consumption Tax (消費税 / 10%) unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

• Prices may change without prior notice; the price at order confirmation is final.
• COD orders must be paid in full upon delivery — no partial payments.
• A COD handling fee of ¥500 applies to all orders. Orders above ¥10,000 qualify for free delivery.
• In case of repeated COD refusals, we reserve the right to restrict future orders.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship across Japan via our logistics partners (Yamato Transport / ヤマト運輸 and Japan Post / 日本郵便). Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

• Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka (major cities): 1–2 business days
• Other prefectures: 2–3 business days
• Remote islands (離島) & Okinawa: 3–5 business days

We are not responsible for delays caused by natural disasters, public holidays, or courier disruptions. Once dispatched, a tracking number will be shared via email.

5. Returns & Refunds

We stand behind every product we sell. Our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee applies to all purchases made on PurpleBone.pet.

• Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
• Items must be unused and in original packaging for non-defective returns.
• To initiate a return, email support@purplebone.pet with your order number and photos.
• Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive the returned item.
• Refunds for COD orders will be issued via bank transfer (振込) to your registered bank account.

We do not accept returns for items that show signs of pet use unless they are genuinely defective.

6. Product Safety

All toys sold by PurpleBone.pet comply with Japanese safety standards (ST基準) and are reviewed by qualified veterinary professionals. However:

• All toys should be used under adult supervision, especially for puppies, kittens, and small animals.
• No toy is indestructible. Inspect toys regularly and replace when damaged.
• Remove and dispose of any toy chewed into small pieces to prevent choking.
• Select the appropriate size toy for your pet's breed and weight.
• PurpleBone.pet is not liable for injury caused by misuse or unsupervised use.

7. User Accounts

You may browse and purchase without creating an account. If you choose to register:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and place orders.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activity.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on PurpleBone.pet — including the brand name, logo, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, and website code — is the exclusive intellectual property of PurpleBone Pet Toys K.K.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
• Unauthorised use of our trademarks or brand assets is strictly prohibited under Japanese intellectual property law.
• Product photographs may not be used for commercial purposes without a licensing agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Japanese law, PurpleBone Pet Toys K.K. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or products, including errors in product descriptions or delivery delays.

Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product that gave rise to the claim.

10. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報保護法 / APPI). Key points:

• We collect your name, contact details, and delivery address solely for order processing.
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Data is stored securely on servers located in Japan.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court (東京地方裁判所) as the court of first instance.

We encourage customers to contact our support team first for any grievances. Most issues are resolved amicably within 5–7 business days.
